Arco urbano de playa de arena entre Palma y s'Arenal, con la mayor densidad de población, hoteles y clubes náuticos de las islas. Producto de agua plana: SUP, kayak de mar, vela ligera y snorkel; el surf es anecdótico y solo con temporal de S/SO.

    Cala pequeña de arena al oeste de Palma, resguardada, con roca en los laterales que da fondo interesante para snorkel. Poco viento útil para vela.

    abr–oct para agua plana; episodios puntuales de ola en invierno y con temporales de S/SO

    What it's like

    Playa urbana de arena en el fondo de la bahía, aguas someras y protegidas del N. Brisa térmica (embat) de componente S/SO por la tarde en verano, ideal para vela ligera y windsurf de iniciación. El oleaje surfeable es excepcional y depende de temporales del sur.

    Restrictions and regulations

    Playa muy urbana con canales balizados de baño y tráfico náutico de la bahía de Palma; el fondeo sobre praderas de Posidonia oceanica está prohibido por el Decret 25/2018. Zonificación municipal de usos no verificada en fuente oficial.

    What it's like

    Puerto pesquero y deportivo pequeño junto al paseo marítimo de Palma. Aguas abrigadas; salida costera hacia Ciudad Jardín y el Molinar. Hay escuela de vela en el Club Nàutic Portitxol.

    Restrictions and regulations

    Tráfico náutico portuario: obliga a salir por canal y a mantenerse fuera de bocana. Fondeo sobre Posidonia prohibido (Decret 25/2018).

    What it's like

    Islotes frente a Santa Ponça dentro de la Reserva Marina de las Islas del Ponent (El Toro, Malgrats, Sec). Agua clara y fondos con mucha vida, referencia de snorkel y apnea en el suroeste de Mallorca. Travesía en kayak/SUP expuesta a viento y tráfico de embarcaciones: no apta para principiantes sin apoyo.

    Restrictions and regulations

    Reserva Marina de las Islas del Ponent (El Toro, Malgrats y Sec): pesca regulada, pesca submarina restringida y buceo con escafandra sujeto a autorización nominal de la Direcció General de Pesca. Existen zonas de reserva integral donde el buceo recreativo no está permitido. Verificar el ámbito exacto antes de programar apnea comercial.

    Continuación de Can Pastilla: arena, entrada progresiva y agua plana. El embat vespertino de verano aporta viento suave y regular, adecuado para primeras clases de vela ligera y windsurf.

    Prohibido fondear sobre Posidonia (Decret 25/2018). Balizamiento de baño estacional; normativa municipal concreta no verificada.
