Spot de olas junto a El Médano, con viento del E y NE. La web oficial de turismo lo cataloga como nivel ALTO para kitesurf, acceso difícil, fondo de arena y rocas, y 'no recomendado para principiantes'. Para surf lo sitúa como nivel intermedio en verano.

What it's like
Playa larga de arena al pie de la Montaña Roja. Para surf es descrita como probablemente el mejor sitio de iniciación de Tenerife: protegida de los swells fuertes del oeste, con olas habitualmente a la altura del pecho y mucha espuma para practicar. Para kite, la web oficial de turismo la cataloga como nivel bajo-medio-alto con viento del S/SO side y side-on, fondo de arena y mejor entrada por la derecha, advirtiendo igualmente de que no es apta para principiantes sin instrucción.
Restrictions and regulations
Colindante con la Reserva Natural Especial de Montaña Roja: respetar accesos y evitar instalaciones fuera de las zonas habilitadas.

Vientos del E y NE side/side-on, fondo de arena y rocas. La web oficial de turismo de Tenerife clasifica el nivel como medio-alto y advierte de que 'no es apto para principiantes sin instrucción'. La playa está zonificada con balizas: zona de baño, zona de surf, zona de windsurf y zona de kitesurf, más un área específica de montaje de cometas, áreas de escuelas con mayor control, una zona de free ride intermedia, áreas avanzadas (el saco / el muelle) y una zona de precaución al final de la playa con piedras y salida difícil donde no se debe cruzar la línea de seguridad.
Restrictions and regulations
Zonificación balizada obligatoria por disciplina y zona de baño. La web oficial de turismo indica que no se requiere permiso especial para la navegación, pero la actividad comercial en la arena sí depende de autorización municipal. Es imprescindible respetar la separación de áreas y las líneas de seguridad.

parte del término municipal está incluida en el Parque Natural de Corona Forestal y hay varias zonas arqueológicas protegidas de época guanche; conviene verificar la delimitación de los sectores antes de programar. Régimen concreto de la escuela no verificado en fuente oficial (ver dudas).
