Parque nacional desde la ley 9/2021 (22.979 ha, 11 municipios de Málaga), con el mayor pinsapar del mundo (~2.000 ha), el pico Torrecilla (1.919 m, techo de la Andalucía occidental) y un karst con la sima GESM, la más profunda de Andalucía (1.101 m). Ronda (740 m) es la base logística.

Cueva con arte parietal paleolítico, protegida como zona arqueológica desde 1924. La visita es exclusivamente guiada por la gestión de la cueva y requiere reserva previa a través de su web oficial; no es una cavidad de práctica deportiva.

Restrictions and regulations
Boca sur del sistema Hundidero-Gato, el más importante de Andalucía con más de 9.000 m topografiados (7.818 m de desarrollo y 219 m de desnivel). Declarada monumento natural en 2011 y protegida como bien cultural desde 1985 por su arte rupestre. La travesía completa no es una actividad libre: requiere autorización (no he podido abrir el procedimiento de la Junta, ver dudas).
