Parque Natural Baixa Limia-Serra do Xurés (20.920 ha, 1993), granito, circos glaciares a la cota más baja de la península y frontera con el Parque Nacional portugués de Peneda-Gerês. Junto con Portugal forma la Reserva de la Biosfera Transfronteriza Gerês-Xurés (2009).

    Parque Natural desde 1993, ZEPA y ZEC, más Reserva de la Biosfera transfronteriza. Presencia de lobo y de rapaces. Es previsible que las actividades organizadas requieran autorización del parque, pero NO lo he podido verificar en la web de la Xunta (las fichas del portal patrimonionatural.xunta.gal no cargaron contenido).
