Playa abierta en el punto donde la ría de Muros e Noia se abre al Atlántico, bajo el Monte Louro. Muy expuesta y consistente, con picos repartidos y una derecha famosa en el inicio de la playa. Playa expuesta y sin abrigo: no es terreno de primeras clases con mar medio o grande.
