What it's like
Arenal de casi 3 km con olas repartidas por toda la playa, considerado de las mejores playas gallegas para aprender. Vientos de componente noroeste y suroeste constantes en verano lo convierten también en spot de windsurf y kitesurf.
Restrictions and regulations
La playa está balizada a 200 m de la orilla con dos zonas delimitadas para actividades náuticas (bodyboard, surf, windsurf, paddle surf, kitesurf, pesca deportiva). Es imprescindible respetar la zonificación y comprobar cada temporada las condiciones concretas del balizamiento con el Concello de O Grove.

Aguas interiores tranquilas de la ría más grande de Galicia, descritas como probablemente el mejor entorno de España para aprender a navegar. El Centro Galego de Vela programa cursos de verano con vela de 10:30 a 13:30 y windsurf de 11:00 a 13:00.
Restrictions and regulations
Tráfico portuario y bateas de mejillón en la ría: la navegación recreativa debe respetar los polígonos de bateas y los canales de acceso al puerto. Normativa concreta no verificada.
