Restrictions and regulations
Espacio protegido de 116 ha (2 km en el río Quípar y 9 en el Segura), con paredes verticales de más de 100 m. Alberga las cuevas de los Monigotes (pinturas eneolíticas) y La Serreta, declaradas Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 1999, lo que implica protección estricta del arte rupestre. Fauna sensible: águila perdicera (amenazada) y nutria. Acceso desde Cieza por la RM-532 hasta la central hidroeléctrica de Almadenes.

Restrictions and regulations
Gestionada por el Gobierno de la Región de Murcia (documentación formal desde 1994). El tramo habilitado para visita turística supera los 700 m y unos 50 m de profundidad, frente a los 4.386 m de galerías topografiadas y 114 m de desnivel del conjunto: el acceso a la parte no turística no es libre. Acceso por la RM-714, salida del km 36 hacia la Sierra del Puerto.
