Macizo aislado entre Zaragoza y Soria que culmina en la cima más alta de todo el Sistema Ibérico (2.314 m). Sin estación de esquí, pero con ascensiones invernales y travesías esquí-raquetas de referencia para Zaragoza y Soria.
Mountain
Parque Natural del Moncayo (11.144 ha, protegido desde 1978), con el cerro de San Miguel a 2.315 m como techo del Sistema Ibérico. Vertiente norte húmeda con robledal, hayedo y pinar; escuela de escalada en Calcena, dentro de la ZEPA Sierra del Moncayo-Los Fayos-Sierra de Armas.

mayo–octubre en seco; enero–marzo en invernal. Es una montaña aislada y muy ventosa: el invierno es serio pese a la altitud modesta.
Restrictions and regulations
Parque Natural del Moncayo (ZEPA ES0000297, ZEC ES2430028). La altitud va de 600 m en el río Huecha a 2.315 m en el cerro de San Miguel. No hemos verificado restricciones concretas de aparcamiento, acampada o cupos de acceso a la carretera de Agramonte/Santuario.

Restrictions and regulations
Prohibido escalar del 1 de abril al 31 de agosto en las agujas de la Iglesia y del Diablo (vías 54 a 66) por nidificación de alimoche (Neophron percnopterus). La escuela está dentro de la ZEPA ES0000297 Sierra del Moncayo-Los Fayos-Sierra de Armas y el Servicio Provincial de Medio Ambiente de Zaragoza gestiona la regulación, que es DINÁMICA y puede cambiar: la información actualizada está en el Albergue de Calcena. Montaña Regulada advierte de que no ha podido comprobar la regulación con legislación o publicaciones oficiales.
