Playa abrigada en la bahía de Txingudi, junto a la desembocadura del Bidasoa y la frontera con Francia. Oleaje pequeño en comparación con la costa abierta.

Beach break urbano de arena, la playa más expuesta al oleaje de las tres de Donostia. En días grandes de invierno deja de ser terreno de principiantes; el marco de aprendizaje está en los días pequeños y en la zona interior.

No se ha localizado el texto de la ordenanza municipal de playas de Donostia con la zonificación surf/baño; es previsible que exista separación estacional de zonas, pero no se ha podido verificar.
