Parque Natural de los Calares del Mundo y de la Sima (Ley 3/2005), en el extremo sur del Sistema Ibérico-Prebético albaceteño: nacimiento del río Mundo, el sistema kárstico de la Cueva de los Chorros y las hoces del Segura en torno a Ayna y Alcaraz.

    Orden de 17/02/2010 de la Consejería de Industria, Energía y Medio Ambiente de Castilla-La Mancha, que regula las actividades deportivas de aventura en el parque. PERMISO PREVIO IMPRESCINDIBLE para la Cueva de los Chorros (sus 3 sectores, salvo zonas prohibidas señalizadas en el interior), Cueva de la Pedorrilla, Cueva del Farallón, Sima del Barranco de los Pinos, Sima de los Jumillanos y Sima del Mirador. GRUPOS DE 8 PERSONAS COMO MÁXIMO, un máximo de 4 días de visita y un máximo total de 4 GRUPOS POR MES. Es imprescindible licencia federativa en vigor de todos los participantes (o certificados de cursos técnicos homologados más seguro de accidentes que cubra espeleología). Solicitud por correo electrónico firmada por el responsable, con día(s), cavidades, actividad y relación nominal de participantes con DNI; la Federación de Espeleología de Castilla-La Mancha participa en la verificación y en la elaboración del calendario.
