Dentro del Parc Natural del Cadí-Moixeró y declarado Paratge Natural d'Interès Nacional en 1982. En los parques naturales catalanes las visitas de grupo grande y las actividades organizadas pueden requerir autorización previa, y la escalada está sujeta a regulación por zonas.

Ámbito del Parc Natural del Cadí-Moixeró, gestionado desde Bagà. Aplican las normas generales de los parques naturales catalanes: autorización previa para grupos grandes y para actividades organizadas, circulación motorizada limitada a pistas señalizadas.
