What it's like
La Puntica y El Rayo se citan como spots de surf del levante almeriense (oleaje inconstante). La Playa de los Muertos, en el límite del Parque Natural, es playa virgen de cantos con aguas muy transparentes: excelente para snorkel/apnea, pero con acceso a pie desde aparcamiento alejado, sin servicios y con rompiente y corriente cuando hay levante — no apta como aula de iniciación.
Restrictions and regulations
La Playa de los Muertos está en el entorno del Parque Natural Cabo de Gata-Níjar; el acceso rodado está restringido en temporada alta. No se ha verificado normativa náutica específica.

What it's like
las playas de Mojácar se citan como las de mejor oleaje de Almería, con swells de levante que pueden llegar a ~2 m. Aun así es oleaje de viento mediterráneo: aparece con pocos días de aviso, dura poco y no permite planificar cursos. NO es un destino de surf fiable comercialmente.
